Bio

Education: Graduated from Dobie High School in 2019. Bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Texas Southern University. Member of Texas Southern Honor society. Teaching: Coach Pounds is entering his 4th year of teaching. He previously taught English I, but is currently work in special education. Playing Career: Played football at Dobie High School and was all district Linebacker in 2018. Voted by coaching staff leadership award in 2018. Former Texas southern football player. Coaching Career: Coach Pounds is in his 4th year of coaching. He previously served as varsity assistant coach for Pasadena Memorial for 3 years. He has coached Linebackers on all levels and has served as the head strength coach as well as head coach of powerlifting for boys and girls.
