Children: Marquis (21), D.J. (15), Ashton (11), Maliq (9)

Education: Graduated from La Marque High School in 2004. Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies
from Jackson State University. Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven University.

Teaching: Coach Johnson currently teaches Health and P.E.

Playing Career: All District DB and Honorable Mention All State in 2002. 2003 State Champion. Played CB at
University of Missouri 2004-2006. Transferred to Jackson State University and played CB 2007-2008.
SWAC Championship Defensive MVP (2007), First-team All-SWAC (2008). Was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and went on to play 5 years in the NFL.

Coaching Career: Entering his 8th year of coaching and his first at LaPorte.
