Keith Whitely

Bio

Coach Whitely serves as the Varsity Offensive Coordinator / RBs Coach, and the District Recruiting Coordinator. He is a graduated from Dobie High School, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Houston, and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. He also holds a teaching certification in Physical Education and Special Ed. He currently teaches Physical Education at DeWalt Academy.

Playing Career: 3-year letterman in football at the University of Houston where he Played running Back and
Kickoff Returner.

Coaching Career: This will be his 17th season as a coach at La Porte HS. Coach Whitely has been in the state
playoffs 22 of his 26 seasons. he has been apart of 6 District Championships and enjoyed 24 playoff wins with 3 visits to the State Quarter Finals.

Wife: Michelle, Children: Ashley (35), Keith (30), and Karessa (29)
